Gingko Fern - SGD 30 (only pair) - Sold

2 more weeks before I vanish for a fortnight so i'm gonna try and make and list as many new pieces as i can while keeping myself sane in this insane summer heat. How I'd love to chop off my locks if not for the fact that it took me nearly 3 years to grow it out!

I'm so happy Friday is here again so I leave you with a pair of mismatched earrings to mark the weekend :) Gingko Fern features a special cloisonne charm on one side, while the other side features a rhinestone-centred vintage red flower and czech leaves wired onto a mini dreamcatcher with subtle nature shades trailing below ~ Drops are 4.5cm and 5cm respectively from 14k goldplated hooks. This is my only pair!

On a side note, I have decided that my personal photos on Flickr should now be only viewable by those on my friends and family lists. Not that I have become a victim on online photo ripping (at least I am not aware of any!), but I would like to take precautions and protect the privacy of my friends and loved ones. Plush et Noir - SGD 46 (only pair) - Sold

This is my only pair of peony cloisonnes in black and I think it probably catches the contemporary oriental chic look best among all the colours :) This is an eye-catching length of 8cm drop from goldfilled hooks with slim green onyx and phrenite brios with red garnet and swarovski blings ~

Wings have always been a fixation of mine, guess it's the whole freedom flight appeal? Or maybe it's an overaged crush on the Angel character from X Men. Blond hair, white feathery wings? Totally goes!

Love these big hoops so why oh why did I not get more when I had the chance?! This is another one and only piece of mismatched cloisonne earrings ~ clusters of golden blooms and buttons for an unexpected medley of glitz. Drop is about 7.5cm ~

Morning, Sunshine! - SGD 38 - Sold

Light-hearted sunny mismatched pair with clusters of dyed coral and polymer roses wired together with a pretty red cloisonne heart charm and yellow jade brios ~ Drop is a conspicuous 9cm from 14k goldplated hooks.

A black onyx hibiscus is wired onto a black & gold fan cloisonne with trails of red, grey and black swarovskis while another "fans" below a cinnabar heart bead. Drops are 7cm and 8cm respectively from 14k goldplated hooks ~

Shimmering soft blue butterfly cloisonnes with clusters of pale yellow earthy beads, and droplets of sky hanging from little filigree leaves ~ Drop is nearly 6cm from 14k goldplated hooks.

I enjoyed working with the colours in Opulence but unfortunately I'm out of those gorgeous mudan/rose cloisonnes so I came up with other versions. Plush features pretty blue peony cloisonnes which I've used before, with tangerine clay roses, vermeil flower, swarovski blings, hoops, little red garnet rounds and rich orange carnelian brios.

It's been a long while but I'm finally back and ready to get back into the swing of things! :) Tassie was an awesome break and I really love that place! The air was so fresh, the ocean so blue... I've never felt better and more rested than I did on this hol. Not to mention how the hubster and friends have been commenting on my newfound radiant glow and that I've seemed to have lost weight! *rubs hands in glee* I attribute these perks to our resident dietician Charlotte who made sure we had the necessary food groups in the right proportion and dragged us around on killer bushwalks.


I've just finished uploaded all the photos of our trip on Flickr after hours of sorting, phew! It's such a beautiful place with so many wonderful people that I simply have to share them. I especially loved digging for vintage treasures at Salamanca Market in Hobart and Port Adelaide where there were so many stalls and antique shops selling estate jewellery. Think I came back with at least 60 pieces of vintage jewellery that caused me to get stopped at customs on our way home haha. I'm simply thrilled at all the great finds! They will be perfect for my Christmas theme :)

Things have been crazy since i returned with Phoena's 2nd birthday party and Jenna coming back from Thailand and Malaysia that I haven't been able to really work on existing and new orders. I'm still clearing mails and motivating myself to plan for the next Maad - it's been such a chore! The hot humid weather hasn't been much help, it takes so much effort just to keep awake in the afternoons. Makes me miss the weather in Tassie already! Sniff.

Firebird - SGD 27 - Sold

Got this greenish gold little tree trinket holder in Manila so thought I'll use it in some of the photography :) They were a steal at S$5 each for that size! Firebird is a simple easy to wear mismatched pair with a peachy phoenix cloisonne charm on one side, and swirly twirls on the other. These swirls have alternate speckly and smooth surfaces, and I added little drops in frosted blush pink and metallic pink-gold to complement the colours in the phoenix. Unfortunately they have come out a bit too pink than they really are. The colours are more of a soft muted champagne!
