Hailing from the 1940s is this charmer of a vintage heart-shaped locket, featuring a quaint foliage motif and spur set with 16 tiny rhinestones. The locket is gold fill and has a lovely pinkish gold tint in some areas. It is marked for H.F. Barrows and Company, a New England jewellery manufacturer in Attleboro, Massachusetts between the 1850s and 1960s. A very pretty locket indeed!
To add character and complement the rhinestones (some of which have darkened with age), the locket is attached to a 18" long hand-wired chain of hematite rondelles in a gleaming gunmetal grey. The locket is detachable and can be worn simply on a 14k gold fill chain if you so wish. This chain is included and you may indicate your preferred length :)
