Old meets Oriental in this edgy chinoiserie piece ~ a vintage faux jade relic is wrapped in filigree and set against vintage bezel-set tinted blue-green czech glass connectors and brassy ethnic-looking scroll charms. The rest of the necklace is made up of amazonite nuggets amidst czech beads in varying sea green and metallic bronzey hues.

Vanity Fair necklace - SGD 140 - Sold
Finally! Another versatile multi-tasking statement necklace :)
Glowing translucent pink rose quartz nuggets in edgy faceted irregular cuts and vintage components including a beautiful botanical brooch with faux jade cabochons and filigree gold leaves, a garnet red rhinestone-d flower accent and an interesting stepped rhinestone teardrop pendant.
As you can see in the first picture, the chain can be detached to transform this piece into a fancy bracelet. The chain portion is a long 34" interspersed with teardrop shaped bezel-set crystals and moonstone rondelles which can be removed and worn as a long necklace or looped a few times for a multi-chain bracelet.
The bracelet length will suit a standard size 6.5 - 7" wrist while the complete necklace (bracelet + chain) is approx. 16.5" in length.
Parisienne Rose confession
I have a confession to make: I was, in all honesty, not intending to hoard any more pieces but really, I love a good festoon myself and the colours in this piece are right up my alley. Just look at that purple! I can't think of a word to properly describe that shade of lilac purple. And that gorgeous vintage rose cameo in a gilt frame? You don't see the likes of that often.
So yes, I am going to break the rule once more and let it stay with me just that bit longer. It looks so pretty on my desktop linen mannequin and when I get bored, I simply look up at it and give a little satisfied sigh. Beautiful things need to be admired and I need a muse :)

Madame Botany necklace - SGD 85 - Sold
I have been in my Edwardian phase since indulging in Downton Abbey again (thanks to my lovely in-laws!) and perhaps you will see more of that inspired darlings from that era here :)
A beautifully aged vintage enameled floral fan-like filigree component is the lady in mention here, along with a stunner of a chrysoprase green crystal pendant from Japan. Crimson red crystal connectors and freshwater pearls lend a regal air to this simple yet lovely festoon necklace.
Noa Fleur necklace - SGD 128 - Sold
I love how Noa Fleur turned out, with its gothic romantic vintage oxidised silver rose (or perhaps tulip) brooch, the juxtapose of pale pinks and whites against flashes of silvery greys. Gemstones used include rose quartz, clear quartz, labradorite, moonstone, shimmery oyster blue petal pearls alongside vintage lucite flowers. The necklace is just over 16" long and closes with a old-fashioned filigree box clasp to the side near the front.

Epigraph locket necklace - SGD 155 - Sold
A fantastic large antique oval locket from the Wightman & Hough company set with paste stones in a floral motif patterin is the star in this Epigraph necklace, accompanied by a single vintage teal blue bezel-set glass stone, moonstone heart brios, blue zircon rounds and peacock blue pearls wired in brassy hues. The locket is stunning and in excellent condition with the back face monogrammed with what appears to be a lovely scripted EMD.
In case you were interested, the W&H Co. was a Providence, RI based jewellery company in business from 1856-1922 and the lockets they produced were exceptional! I love their lockets and may or may not own a few myself :)
Perhaps Epigraph could go home and live with you for the next 50 years or so?
Love & Faith Locket Necklace - SGD 105 - Sold
If you were interested in my sideways cross locket necklace here, you may be pleased to know I have come up with a similar piece also featuring a pretty vintage gold locket in just the right size for a dainty necklace. Most lockets I've found are either too bulky for the delicate look I'm going for or the gold finish isn't quite right so you can't imagine how pleased I was to find another that would work.
Sterling and rhinestone accents, a shiny poofy gold-filled star, a tiny faceted blue topaz and smooth blue flash moonstone brios are added for a lovely 2-toned finish on an equally fetching petite gold-filled chain.
Time now to spend the rest of the balmy Saturday with the mister and kiddos, hope you have a splendid weekend with the ones you love too! ❤

:: special request :: Chatsworth Necklace - Sold
I was overjoyed and undoubtably grateful for being able to find 2 of these very old cannetille ribbon bow charms which has made it possible for me to fulfil a special request for a similar Wharton-style necklace. While Chatsworth and Wharton are sister necklaces, they possess different vintage elements; the former has the inclusion of a lovely single antique chandelier cut glass pendant. Charming nonetheless :)

Dalloway necklace - SGD 125 - Sold
One of my favourite necklaces, Dalloway may look deceivingly nondescript but it sure takes your breath away once you put it on. Elegant, classy yet somewhat flirty, with the swaying soft blush rose quartz briolettes, labradorite rondelles and champagne pearls. A keeper in my books :)

Wharton necklace - SGD 115 - Sold
I've used 2 very old antique components here: a cannetille bow charm from the late 1800s and the floral filigree centrepiece set with paste stones, also another 19th century relic. The weathered look is complemented with oxidised sterling parts, a vintage rhinestone and a lovely ivory butterfly cameo from Japan. Necklace measures approx. 18" in length.

Exposition necklace - SGD 79 - Sold
Another 20s-inspired decadent piece, the clean lines and strong curves of this amazing vintage two-tone crystal pendant (picked up in London, and it swings) really add a different dimension to the classic pearl ensemble. The pendant is detachable so you can wear the pearls sans pendant or the pendant on a simple gold chain, whatever tickles your fancy. Along the pearl chain are some vintage rhinestones and beads befitting this sculptured dame. Necklace hangs longer at a 20" length.

Edwardia Necklace - SGD 125 - Sold
This is honestly going to be the one I find it the hardest to part with, simply because of that seriously awesome Victorian swallows brooch pin with a bezel set opal cabochon. This was a surprise find during my antiquing stint in the UK this summer and I just know I may never come across the likes of it again! I kept it simple with a pretty faceted emerald green onyx dewdrop briolette, vintage rhinestone drop, freshwater pearls and sprinkles of semiprecious rondelles on a 14k GF chain.
Victorians were known for their sentimentality and expressed itself in their tendency to use symbolism in their jewellery. Apart from flower language, the swallow was another popular jewellery motif in that time period. The Victorians use swallows to symbolise "the winged soul", love, children, motherhood and more. Swallows were known to always return to the same nesting place no matter where they went so they symbolised "faithfully returning home". This is why sailors of old liked using swallows as a tattoo theme -- due to their navigational prowess and the fact that he sight of a swallow also indicated that land was near. How much meaning for one little birdie!
Relique Necklace - SGD 70 - Sold
I can never resist the weathered look of vintage brassy chains - how beautifully they age with time! It began with this gorgeous very, very old scrolly gilt filigree (ex)brooch set with peridot green rhinestones. Add more vintage lovelies to the mix: a copper budded cross charm, petite round locket, antique rhinestone drop, with a good dollop of smooth apple green chrysoprase rondelles and aquamarine nuggets. A tiny rose charm at the clasp brings a whiff of unexpected softness to this darling necklace.
St. Germain Necklace - SGD 130 - Sold
A lovely statement necklace made up of a large Victorian era brassy bow brooch, vintage opaque white signed earring, vintage rhinestone wreath focal, clear crystal quartz cube gemstones, natural chalcedony briolette, a heavy weight weave vintage chain with a slight chain & side toggle closure in 14k GF.
Elderflower Necklace - SGD 115 - Sold
Romanticism abounds in this belle of a necklace made up of a vintage gold rose & navette rhinestone signed earring, petite oiseaux charm, lace roses, gorgeous faceted turquoise heart briolette and a 14k GF chain interpersed with pink freshwater pearls, aquamarine ovals, amazonite nuggets and sprinkles of sparkly gemstone rondelles. Utterly delightful.
